our stay was so lovely, the condo was beautiful and so cozy. it was clean, stocked with everything we needed, they even had à pack and play set up for our arrival. the view is stunning. we have 4 young kids, (all under 6) and the walk to beach was doable for us with a stroller which was great. the pool is not heated, so it was pretty cold especially as it wasn’t too sunny during our stay. parking was a bit of a struggle as you have to take a golf cart with all your stuff to the condo. there is no parking close by. we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone!!

Great place to stay!

Location was great, view was great, the condo was clean, nice and well appointed, Mia actually set up a Christmas tree for us ! Hotel pool was disappointing-cold and not very usable - ocean was a much better choice for swimming . Residence has (2) nice beds, sleeper single couch and living room lounge/bed are only usable for very small children, 10 and under. Mia did provide an inflatable single bed for our stay when requested quickly which made our stay a great experience, we will be back ! A great property and experience!

Highly recommend! This condo is in a fantastic location - just a short walk to the beach and steps away from the pool. It’s stocked with everything you could possibly need, including a super handy closet full of beach chairs, sand toys, and boogie boards, which was perfect for our family. The property itself is beautiful, and having two restaurants plus a coffee bar right on the resort was such a bonus. A wonderful spot for anyone traveling with kids. We’d definitely stay again!

Great place to stay with family. Mia was super responsive and accommodating. We had an issue with the fan in our room, and she had someone take care of it ASAP. My toddler loved going to the beach, which felt like your own private spot. If you like shade, it’s the perfect beach for you! Tennis and pickleball right in the resort, which was perfect for us. Thank you, Mia, for an awesome stay.

Mias place is incredible!!!! We hope to be able to go back very soon. She was very responsive. Allowed a late check out because we had 9 hours to kill before our flight! The view from our balcony was unmatched. We couldn't get over it. Very comfortable beds and everything was spotless when we arrived. Don't look any further this is your place to stay!

My family loved our stay at Mia’s place! The home was fully stocked with everything you need including beach toys/bag. The home itself is beautifully decorated, very spacious and the beds were extremely comfortable. The views from the balcony are absolutely amazing! Waking up to the picturesque view every morning was such a blessing! The grounds of HBR are beautiful and well maintained! The pool, coffee shop and restaurants were all great! Mia’s place is in a good location to restaurants, food trucks, a grocery store and shopping.

Such a great spot in the resort. Near the pool, tennis courts, parking. Watching the sunset was just steps away. The view from the condo was outstanding! Would stay again.

Mia’s place is wonderful! Great location within the complex, close to the pool and dining. Very helpful to have golf cart service on the grounds since it is quite hilly. The unit is well stocked and anything you need you can find it at the shops close by. We hope to return to this piece of paradise 🌺

Great space for family with the kitchen and laundry, proximity to pool and tennis courts, as well as closet that was stocked with beach chairs and umbrellas. Gorgeous mountainside views.

Location was the most important point for us. We sat on the lanai for a couple of hours every morning enjoying the view and chatting. The resort is nice and the staff there wonderful. Parking can be a little hard to find, especially when other people arrive for dinner and the resort restaurant but the complementary valet works very hard to overcome this limitation and make your experience pleasant. My sone and his wife looked into staying there on their next visit but she said they cannot afford it. Hopefully we can bring them back with us in the future.

Mia’s place was perfect for our family. The porta crib was a bonus. The view with a morning rainbow, almost every morning, was spectacular. Beds were comfy and kitchen fully furnished with everything we needed. 🌺🌺🌺

We had the most magical stay at Mia’s HBR condo! When I booked I assumed the listing photos were exaggerated in some way, but let me assure you the views are even better in person! We stayed for three nights and were not ready to leave! The views from the condo are unmatched, the proximity to the resort pool is so convenient, having Happy Talk/Wiki Pizza/Coffee Shop on-site is amazing, the golf course community is stunning, and the town of Hanalei stole our hearts! We kind of want to keep this place a secret, but I rely on reviews and want to help others who do the same. The only things to keep in mind when booking this condo are the parking is not right by the building and the condo is up a half flight of stairs if those items are import for mobility reasons. The room with the pullout chair stays colder than the other master. There is an entire closet of beach supplies available to guests! Thank you Mia for a wonderful stay and for being so helpful throughout the entire process!

The view was amazing! Very nice resort! Beautifully landscaped. Pool and hot tub were wonderful. We also enjoyed playing pickle ball. The beach was not swimmable every day while we were there due to flooding and debris in the water.

Among our all time favorite vacation spots. Everything was clean and beautifully appointed. The rainbow views from the lanai alone were enough to make our vacation relaxing and peaceful, and it was hard to leave this wonderful space behind.

Our stay was amazing! Mia was incredibly responsive and made sure we had the best experience possible. We had a few questions during our trip, and she was always quick to help and she even checked in proactively to see how things were going and if we needed anything. The photos honestly don’t do justice to the stunning views and beauty of the resort. From the lagoon pool to the private beach, we had everything we could have wanted and more. When we return, we will be booking this exact place again. Knowing Mia will take care of everything makes all the difference. We absolutely couldn’t recommend Mia and this location more highly!

My three teenagers, husband, and I had an excellent stay at Mia’s property. It was just as described. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed, including even coffee. The view is amazing! The bathrooms with fully stocked with plenty of towels and there was extra blankets and pillows. The pool and hot tub as well as the view for sunset were excellent. I would definitely stay here again.

My husband and I stayed 4 nights at Mia’s place. It was a beautiful spot located within Hanalei Bay Resort. The views from the lanai, the semi-private beach, and afternoons spent by the pool were highlights. Would recommend for a stay in Princeville!

One of our favorite AirBNBs hands down. Absolutely beautiful views. The home itself is spacious, clean and well stocked. It was the perfect place to give our teenager his own space. There’s a walk to the beach with a decent incline, but if you have any concerns about the walk, the resort offers free golf cart rides to and from the beach. We saw lots of fish, garden elks and even an eagle ray while snorkeling at the hotel beach. It was our favorite beach by far and Mia provided all the beach gear needed. The walk to Neighbors at 1 Hotel is worth it for beautiful views with your coffee and breakfast/pastries. We loved the lagoon pool and hot tub. Great area to grill out and eat by the pool. Quick drive to Hanalei’s wonderful restaurants and fun shops. We truly believe we couldn’t have booked a better place if we tried. If you have a baby or little ones, they have all kinds of helpful amenities. We will be dreaming of Kauai and Mia’s place until our next visit.

I can’t say enough good things about this place. My wife, our one-year-old daughter, and I had the most unforgettable trip to Hanalei, and this Airbnb was a huge part of what made it so special. The location couldn’t be better: peaceful and tucked away, yet close enough to enjoy everything Hanalei has to offer. The staff were warm, helpful, and attentive in a way that made us feel both taken care of and completely at home. The pool was perfect—clean, serene, and the ideal spot to relax after a day of exploring. Traveling with a toddler isn’t always easy, but the hosts had thought of everything: umbrellas, ice chests, beach chairs—all provided and ready for us to use, which made beach days so much easier and more enjoyable. This wasn’t just a vacation—it was a dream trip. Thank you for creating such a magical experience.

Mia’s condo was perfect for our family of 5! The views absolutely can not be beat. We loved visiting local beaches, or going on hikes or adventures during the day, and coming back to the peaceful condo and wonderful pool area. Highly recommend and already thinking about our next trip!

Had an amazing week here - the place was just absolutely stunning, the pictures don't do it justice. It's the best combination of being at a resort but having your own place. The apartment was really well stocked with all the amenities you would need (from kitchen to beach). Plenty of extra linen/pillows etc. The most impressive piece was just the view - it was absolutely priceless. We spent hours sat on the balcony looking out to the ocean and the big rolling mountains.

What a view!! We arrived when it was dark, and I ran to the window as soon as the sun came up the first morning and was thrilled with our view. We just checked in to our next airbnb on the south shore and are already missing the mountains in the north! The resort is easy to navigate with great beach access and my kids loved the pool, too. The condo was a great place for us to rest in the evening and play board games as a family. Excellent communication from the host - would absolutely stay again!

Just an unbelievable stay in an ideal location. The views were out of this world of Hanalei Bay and the surrounding mountains. Morning rainbows over the water daily. The location of the condo was perfect. Near the swimming pool and restaurants and a short walk to the beach and tennis/pickleball courts. Overall a fantastic stay.

Mia was a great host and the place was exactly as advertised. Easy instructions for check-in/checkout, was super clean and had plenty of room. Plus, it’s in literal paradise, so there’s that too. The condo is in the perfect location within Hanalei Bay Resort, you’re right by the main pool and at the start of the walk down to the beach. You’re close to the parking lot and a coffee shop near the main lobby area, and have easy access to the lower pool too. The beach is great because it’s never too crowded and you can order food and drinks at a different hotel right on the beach. The waves aren’t bad at all, and the snorkeling is great! There were beach toys and boogie boards for families and towels for the pool provided by the resort. The resort offered a golf cart shuttle at the beach if you’re traveling with kids or older family members, and to help with extra luggage. Hanalei has plenty of places to eat, and so does Kīlauea. We had a great time and will definitely be back!

Mia's place is absolutely a perfect vacation spot. Our family of six adults fit comfortably and enjoyed all the amenities the resort provided. The tennis courts are right outside, with breathtaking views. We had questions for Mia about what was supplied regarding laundry detergent and coffee. She responded immediately. We went on several hikes and definitely needed plenty of detergent for our family. We stopped at Costco in Lihue and filled our car with food for the week. When we checked in, the staff brought a golf cart to help us haul everything to our place. We had a ton of stuff, so we were grateful for the assistance. We ate most of our breakfasts looking out from our beautiful back deck but spent our dinners eating near the pool. We pulled some tables together and enjoyed the lovely weather at night. The beach is absolutely gorgeous and a short downhill walk away. Overall, we had a fabulous time in Kauai staying at this Airbnb. We would recommend it to anyone.

Loved our stay at the Hanalei Bay Resort. Mia was kind and quick to respond. Our place was clean and the views were amazing to wake up to. The beach at the bottom of the resort was awesome. Very few people and the snorkeling was great. Saw some turtles and at least 15 different variety of fish. Lots of places to eat within a 10 minute drive. Thanks Mia!

Check-in and out were seamless. We especially loved all the little touches and amenities in the space - like tons of beach gear. We only wish our weather would have been better. Review of Hanalei Bay Rainbow Retreat Overall Stay: The condo offers a spacious layout with a nice view, and the location is convenient. A grocery store is close by, and the property features a fun restaurant and a pizza place with good pizza. First Impressions: The flooring comes across as unfinished, with a cold, industrial look that doesn’t feel suited for a residential condo. Plus there was hair everywhere and clearly had not been cleaned properly. Kitchen: The kitchen is functional but basic. The dishes are of mixed quality, and the cabinets show noticeable wear and tear. While not cohesive, the setup provides most essentials. Bathrooms: Cleanliness needs to be improved. There were hairs in the shower, and the toilet had not been thoroughly cleaned, which was disappointing upon arrival. Service: Mia, the host, was quick to respond. The view and location are definite highlights, though some aspects of the condo, such as cleanliness and upkeep, could use more attention.

The pictures online don’t really do this unit justice. The place is a very spacious 2br in a really ideal location at the HBR. Close to pool, 2 good restaurant options on the property, beach, tennis, golf not far away. This w unit was clean. All the amenities worked. Super comfortable. Incredible views from the lanai’s of hanalei bay. The set up is unusual because you are at a resort despite staying in an owner’s unit. The resort staff was very friendly and accommodating which makes this spot more attractive. The beach at the bottom of the hill is outstanding with food and bar service from the 1 hotel next door. We drove all around the bay looking for a beach to spend the day and ultimately the resort beach was the best one. Can’t say how nice this stay was and wouldn’t hesitate to come back.

The location was ideal—peaceful and quiet, yet close enough to all the must-see spots on the island. We loved starting our mornings on the lanai and enjoying the breathtaking views of the lush greenery and ocean breeze. The condo was fully equipped with everything we needed, from a well-stocked kitchen to beach gear, which made our trip so much more convenient. It’s clear that the hosts put a lot of care into making their guests feel welcome. This condo was the perfect place for exploring Kauai.

LOCATION. You have a beautiful view and glad you shared it with us, we saw the most vivid rainbows everyday of our stay. Private beach access, when we traveled to other beaches we realized how fortunate we were to have this seclusion. The inside was immaculate as well, the floors were great and the AC let us sleep peacefully. The host, Mia, was there with recommendations on the fly and was very helpful. Thank you again Mia.

This place was everything you can hope for in a place to stay away from home. It was in a convenient place at the resort with beautiful views, exactly as pictured. Every thing you could think of needing and more was in this home, from beach supplies to washer pods, to kitchen necessities and comfort items like aloe and sunscreen, she really has thought of everything. The beach area for this resort is so relaxing and also has great little reefs for snorkeling. Only a mile away from Queens bath which is a must see! Also close proximity to grocery, gas, and a nice shopping/restaurant area. We couldn’t have spent our honeymoon anywhere better.

The condo was perfect for my family and our vacation. The location of the condo is centrally located within the resort property to the pool(s), tennis courts, fire pit and restaurant/cafe. There is a short walk down to Pu’u Poa beach which we loved as a semi private beach. The condo was lovely, updated, clean and had everything we needed. The view is incredible. We will definitely look to stay here on a future visit to Kauai!
